BOOT CAMP!

Boot Camp (noun) a training camp for Military recruits!

Okay so it's painting and sewing lots of reading and searching! Not the Military but in my mind it's still boot camp! For one Season always leads us to another! So.............I'm in boot camp right now! I'm not exactly sure just where I am headed or just what I'm going to be doing but I do know that God is teaching, training, and preparing me for something! And - my job is to shut up, suit up and show up each day ready to do what is put in front of me. He is preparing me physically, emotionally and spiritually. I have signed up. For what, I'm not sure but I do know that it will be better than anything that I do on my own. I'm tired of thinking that I know best. I'm tired of trying to figure it all out. I surrender! I don't know it all but I know that God does. So many changes are going on in our world; so many searching hurting people; people looking for a cause to invest themselves into. There are so many ways that we are equipped to help one another if only we are willing to put ourselves out there, willing to be vulnerable and give of ourselves no matter the cost. To make this world and the people who live in it a better place to be. Isn't that what we all are really striving for: Peace, Love, Joy, Happiness and a contentment that can only come from within and up above. So.............I'm in boot camp, I'm in training. Some days are really hard and some are very humbling.

Humble :(adjective) deferentially respectful. 2. Low in rank or station.

Humanity: (noun) Human beings collectively; the human race 2.The condition or quality of being human. 3. Those disciplines, such as philosophy and art, concerned with human thought and culture.

Hope: (noun) a desire accompanied by confident expectation.

I see progress and I have Hope! This world is not perfect and neither am I; but I know that each day that I am willing is one day closer to the goal. The goal being to know Gods will, to live in his strength, wisdom and presence. To contribute to the well being of others and to be creative with what I've got. My heart is breaking for the "Human trafficking" that is growing at a rapid speed and I know that I have to do something about it. I will not underestimate the power of prayer and I will seek to get involved. Business is different now and I need to have a good attitude and learn how to adjust with our current economy and way of doing things. Our food sources are compromised and not healthy so I must educate myself and help to educate others to make better choices. What we put in our bodies does matter. A return to farming practices is very important for a great number of reasons. We do need to be good stewards of our earth. We only have one. Yes I am in Boot Camp to train, learn, and be disciplined in a great many areas of my life. How about you? Wouldn't you like to get fit and live differently too? Together ‘We’ can change the world! What could possibly be better than that! Absolutely nothing!

Praise God for his grace and patience. My bags are packed, I'm ready to go camp in the wilderness to get to the Mountain top!
