Some Inspirational Words on This Beautiful Summer Day

People, including me, are taking stock of their lives right now! It's good to consider options, priorities, and personal goals and values. What do you consider important?

If life were to suddenly end tomorrow, would what you did today matter, would it have been the best day it could have been? Think about it! Then, could you possibly do tomorrow differently?

Are you living the life that you aspire to! If not---why not? If so---GOOD FOR YOU!

I want to do more things that enrich my life and other's lives.

Welcome to Where Boggers Create!!!

LIFE! I love it!..........I've always been one to jump out of bed and say Ta Dah! Here we go... And living everyday life with a sense of celebration! I am so thankful that the good Lord gave me an abundance of energy and a genuine love for life, people, nature, animals and all things creative.

I am constantly drawing inspiration from places I've been, experiences I've had, and people I meet. I love my farm! I dream of artful creative collections and spaces both indoors and out! It's about a lifestyle; rustic yet refined, out in the country; a casual elegance where I feel Gods presence everywhere!
(my studi0)
We're in the throes of yet another fancy chicken coop! I love my beloved birds! They are so darling, and I cannot think of a better wakeup call than hearing a gallant Roosters early morning call! Life on the farm isn't always easy-----------but it is always rewarding!
A place where we can live, grow, love and be loved. Often times a very special place to work through life's challenges; it's ups and downs!
(Welcome... come on in to my studio)
A place where we can live, grow, love and be loved. Often times a very special place to work through life's challenges; it's ups and downs!
As we, and I, find ourselves in uncertain times and many changes, it does give one the opportunity to take a personal inventory, reflect, and then put into practice what's really most important, sincere, and real. I know that for me I'm entering into a new season in my life, and I want to review my past, both the good and not so good, embracing it all and not waiting for the storm to pass but to learn to dance in the rain!
A bend in the road is not the end of the road as long as you make the turn. I want to learn new things, be an even better friend, I want to slow down. I'm learning to spend more time on what really matters, and less time on what "I thought" mattered. I want to stop and watch the mother bird as she flies with a worm to her nest to nurture her babies, I want to look intently into my horses eyes, I want to see how many fire fly's I can count at evenings dusk. (come and sit... relax and get inspired)
I want to listen to the frogs for hours! Eat more s'mores, make more bon fires, and serve my girlfriends delicious lunches and listening to what's important to them and have lots of giggles! I'm learning to live with less-----------yet I find it's MORE! Oh, I'm growing up! Some days I'm a little girl in a big girl body! Life is good!

Where you see further down the road, you're more rooted in the land, where you have community with your neighbors, and you stop to breath in the fresh air. Life happens more simply--------and you simply live------ a more beautiful life!
I want to conquer denial, embrace what's in front of me, and simply let go! Trusting in Gods wisdom and grace!

"Come to the edge!
I can't I'm afraid.

Come to the edge!
I can't I'll fall.

Come to the edge!
I went; He took my hand, and then we flew!"

Someday, when I meet my maker and he takes my face in his hands I want to hear him say”Well done my good and faithful servant, well done!

Blessings from the farm and never stop growing, learning, and loving and always follow your dreams!
Thank you Karen for hosting such a wonderful party, don't forget to visit other blogger's spaces!

Our Bed N' Bath Boudoir!

Summer camp is not just for kids any more!
That mentality has not only guided our Women's Retreat's creative classes,
but also our displays out at the farm!

Our "Bed N' Bath Boudoir" is a perfectly set up for a "summer
get-a-way" in the rustic, wooded, mountain backdrop of...Missouri!
(We only wish we had mountains!)

It includes a beautiful queen size bed with lovely linens and pillows and a hand-made, stacked wooden-stump headboard, a quaint writing desk, a cozy reading chair tucked into a seating area in the corner, and a beautiful claw-foot tub to retreat to for
a relaxing soak after a long day on the farm.

Check out our beautifully displayed tent, filled with Farmstead merchandise that you can come out and shop while at any of our retreats, or by personal appointment as well!

Women's Retreat Update

We hope to see all of you at July's Women's Retreat classes!
Call (816) 858-0120 or email kelly@farmsteadlifestyle.com to sign up and reserve your spot! Please let us know if you would also like a delicious lunch for an additional $12.

Here is a sneak peak of what classes will be offered on July 24th from 10-5 p.m.
by Shiela Rumney, Nora Neely, Ann Huffman, and Cathy Kline:

Meanwhile, back at the farm...
Last Saturday's Women's Retreat was a wonderfully inspiring time!

Although we only had a few women sign up for classes,
the stormy day did not "rain on our parade"!

The day was filled with creating, connecting, and getting inspired, and Shiela Rumney, class instructor, did a wonderful job in her "Little Bit Rusty" and "Blessed and Distressed" classes, where she taught women how to solder and make vintage charm jewelry as well as other nostalgic memorabilia in mirrors to create a look through the past.

Check out the photos below!

Live meaningfully, and get inspired.
I'm excited for July's classes, and hope to see you there!
